  • Pelvic pain, urinary and bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, and pregnancy and postpartum issues.
  • We focus on helping women throughout pregnancy in addressing concerns such as low back, sciatic, SI joint, or pelvic pain, as well as preparing for labor and delivery through education, perineal massage instruction, and practicing pushing.
  • Postpartum, we help women heal from common issues like bladder leakage, prolapse, tearing during delivery, pain with sex, c-section scar massage, abdominal separation, and overall safe return to exercise.
  • We use a combination of manual massage therapy, internal pelvic floor muscle assessment and treatment, exercises, and education around exercise, diet, hydration, and stress management. We provide thorough treatment, not limited to just one concern at a time.

Sessions are one-on-one and a full hour long, giving you time to do thorough evaluation, treatment, and relationship-building with clients.

  • Compassionate and trauma-informed approach to patient care

About Powerful Women’s Health:

Powerful Women’s Health is a private pelvic floor physical therapy and mental health practice based in Red Bank, NJ. We help women find lasting relief from pain, urinary and bowel challenges, sexual dysfunction, pregnancy and postpartum issues, infertility, and emotional difficulties with stress, anxiety, relationships, trauma, and more. Dedicated to helping women feel stronger, more comfortable, and more confident in their bodies and hearts, our team uses a whole-self approach, valuing the entire mind-body system.

As our practice grows, we are looking for a physical therapist to help us maintain a high level of individualized care. Our office suite is composed of two treatment rooms and one small waiting area. One of the rooms is designated for PT, as it has enough space for a massage/treatment table and floor space. There are one or two practitioners at the office providing treatment at any given time. Sessions include a combination of manual therapy and therapeutic exercise at the practitioner’s discretion. All treatments are one-on-one for 60 minutes.

Our PT and LCSW team collaborates often, taking advantage of each profession’s lens in order to give clients the most rich and effective treatment possible. We observe and think about all of our clients from a whole-person perspective, including mental health/trauma wounds that may be contributing to physical symptoms.

Professional Development:

  • Support for advanced pelvic health certifications
  • Regular case discussions with our pelvic health team
  • Opportunities to develop specialized programs and workshops for specific patient populations
  • Collaborative learning environment with experienced clinicians
